Sleepy Giant

Sleepy Giant wakes up to this world with a clean slate and little context. The hole in his chest, a literal and figurative feeling of emptiness, acts as a familiar guide. Led by a desire to be whole, Sleepy Giant centers around both a narrative-based theme and blank slate design.

Sleepy Giant is an art collectible created by Aaron and Kim Koo that will be released in both digital (NFT) and physical form. In its physical form, from collectible art toys to mixed media sculptures, the Sleepy Giant team is at work to bring the character to life.

In the digital realm, Sleepy Giant will explore the interactive nature of NFTs, connecting creative mediums that people can engage with and be a part of. In the first iteration, ONBD has invited a group of artists to collaborate with Kim and Aaron to create their own versions of the character. A collection of 2,500 NFTs will be released to the public in 2022, which will incorporate Kim’s original designs as well as the artist collaborations.
