Artist as Curator
A new program built to encourage artists to recommend and support one another using the ONBD platform.
Web3 is all about creating and connecting.
In the past year, one of the most positive things that we have seen in the NFT space has been groups of artists helping and supporting each other. It is a beautiful and powerful example of the art community coming together. Taking Inspiration from this phenomenon, we want to do what we can to become an additional support system for artists in Web3, via our SuperRare and Nifty Gateway platforms.
Therefore we are excited to introduce the “Artist as Curator” - a new program built to encourage artists to recommend and support one another using the ONBD platform.
How Does It Work?
Artist as Curator will be a series of solo exhibitions. However, ONBD will only curate the very first drop - after that, every subsequent artist will be recommended and selected by the artist of the previous exhibition. The exhibitions will drop every 2 months.
For example, artist A mounts a solo show on our SuperRare Space. They are responsible for selecting artist B for the following exhibition. Artist B will be responsible for selecting artist C for the June exhibition, and so on.
Each artist will have a solo drop on ONBD’s SuperRare Space and/or Nifty Gateway, and the works will be featured in ONBD’s gallery in the OM Museum District.
How To Participate?
The decision is 100% in the hands of the artists. Get to know the featured artist and make friends with them!
